Finding a spot that’s great for both casual drinkers and serious spirit fans isn’t always easy, but Tibor’s Craft Cocktails makes it simple.
We love that their menu is organized by spirit, so you can quickly find your favorite agave or whiskey.
Plus, their happy hour rocks with half-off classics from 4 PM to 7 PM, Sunday through Friday.
We spoke with a recent guest who stopped by with friends, and he said pairing those discounted drinks with green chile brisket tacos was a total flavor explosion. He added that the savory bites were perfect for soaking up the drinks!
Just a heads-up, some guests mention the service can feel a bit pretentious at times.

Perfect cocktail bar
I enjoy a good cocktail bar, have been to quite a few. It’s rare to find one with such a wide menu, rarer that they are so ably eloquent about the cocktails within- and downright a shame so few are as unpretentious about it.
Tonight me says perfect cocktail bar; tomorrow me may grumble a bit but is absolutely going to understand.

While the party vibe is strong, the hospitality doesn’t always match. Guests sometimes mention delays in getting a server’s attention.
Additionally, there are strict, sometimes confusing ID checks at the door.
Even so, Lotus remains a go-to place for anyone seeking a lively night out with friends.

Exciting cocktails, straight liquors
This is a great cocktail spot in the Plaza area. The drink menu features exciting cocktails, straight liquors, beer and wine. I enjoyed a beautifully crafted Pink Lotus (or two!), the coolest Jell-O shots I have ever seen, and excellent service. Our party of 9 fit comfortably in the plush chairs. There’s a speakeasy that opens later downstairs! Def coming back.

Proof & Press shines for a calm aesthetic, which makes the place incredibly welcoming for a low-key evening. It’s definitely a fantastic spot to sip a fragrant Lavender Fog tea if you want a cozy, non-alcoholic option.
When it comes to creative drinks, they pair classic cocktail artistry with craft coffee, using Onyx Espresso for rich creations like their velvety Carajillo.
They also carry an impressive list of high-end spirits, pouring rare finds like Don Julio 1942 and Fortaleza.
It’s also worth noting that the space even doubles as an event venue, offering catering and private party bookings for special occasions.
Just be aware that the food menu is quite limited, and they occasionally run out of certain ingredients during busy service hours.

My favorite craft cocktail bar to go
Proof and Press is my favorite craft cocktail bar to go and chill-their drink menu is fantastic and the staff is amazing! They always know what I want when I walk in the door! Their charcuterie boards are yummy and their drinks are made with time and care. Try their espresso martini or Gold Rush- they are divine. We recently held a graduation party there and they handled our crowd expertly.

This bar sits gracefully on the 10th floor of the historic Hotel Paso Del Norte, offering stunning panoramic views of the downtown skyline. Their unique location gives the space a distinctly elegant and refined feel.
To keep the energy high as the night goes on, they bring in a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 PM to 2 AM. You can sip your expertly crafted drinks while enjoying the upbeat entertainment.
Overall, the gorgeous backdrop is really hard to beat, making it a prime spot for photos.
Just be sure to watch your tab closely at the end of the night, as some visitors have noted occasional billing discrepancies.

A chill rooftop bar
Wanted a chill rooftop bar to watch sunset in El Paso and this popped up. It was great. Fantastic view to the south of Juarez and the mountains. The drinks were good. Seating was comfortable and music wasn’t too loud. Great overall experience.

One of the best bars in this city
This is possibly one of the best bars in this city. It was clean & everyone was helpful, particularly Gabriela (Gaby). She helped out my crew and I by taking our drink order & I even noticed she was doing bottle service throughout the bar. She gave us a breakdown on how much certain drinks were and even told us a little history on the hotel. Whenever we go back, I definitely want her to help us out. 10/10

Their signature cocktails are unique, with standouts like a bacon fat-washed maple Old Fashioned. The relaxed atmosphere goes great with hearty dishes, too, like their braised short ribs.
A friend told us that weekday happy hour here is a steal, with those $7 house cocktails really hitting the spot.
And since it’s right in the heart of the city, it’s super easy to get to.
The only hitch is that the staff can get overwhelmed during busy times, so service might slow down when things are packed.

Upscale cocktail lounge
Wonderful hangout spot, upscale cocktail lounge, no need to worry about drunk people or bar fight. This place got really busy and crowded after 9pm, strongly suggest u to make a reservation online. People start lining up outside after 10pm. Some people dressed up, some go causal. One thing I will complain about is the restroom does need serious renovation, too small not convenient to ladies

A variety of cocktail drinks
This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly. You feel at home. They offer a variety of cocktail drinks wine and beer. The decor is properly matched with the historic building. What beautiful gems of buildings El Paso has that are being rediscovered. Check out the music schedule, especially look out for Josh, fantastic talent. The vibe is energetic yet sophisticated with a wide range a age demographics. Awesome place.
