As the proud owner of two chihuahuas, I’ve run into this situation so many times. I take my pups for pet grooming in El Paso, pack their treats, and I obviously don’t want to waste the prep or for them to miss out on the fun!

If you’ve ever looked into pet sitting services around El Paso, there’s a chance you might have already heard of Wagwithana. This service landed on our radar after locals mentioned them as a reliable starting spot, so we just had to check it out for ourselves!
Right off the jump, we immediately noted the flexibility of their sitting services. Wagwithana provided both drop-in and boarding care, allowing for pets to be taken care of at their dedicated facilities or from the comfort of their own home.
These came at surprisingly reasonable prices, especially for the amount that goes into the service! Customers we got to chat with mentioned the sitting including baths and walking at minimal upcharge, which can be pretty handy for pets who need the upkeep.
Finally, it’s always reassuring for an owner to know how their pet’s doing. Regulars assured us that the team sent regular, timely updates to keep owners looped into how their pet was getting along, providing some much needed comfort.
That said, Wagwithana is a smaller operation from what we’ve seen. A few regulars mentioned it can take a while for them to confirm availability, so we’d advise inquiring early just in case.

Sometimes we may run into situations where we can’t be at home to keep our pets company or aren’t sure when we’ll get back. In that case, Happy Tails Pet Sitting Services stood out as a local recommendation for those who need a flexible schedule!
When we dropped by for a visit, we got to chat with the team and regulars both, hearing good things about the scheduling. The team was able to accommodate drop-in visits at convenient times, and could even make multiple visits a day!
This timeliness extended to the service as well. Customers were happy to let us know that the team was able to show up at agreed upon times and stay on top of any given schedule set for the pets, such as mealtimes.
Speaking of instructions, customers also praised the team’s flexibility with accommodating customer requests. These ranged from asking them to use specific food brands to taking them out for play at given times, helping with pickier pets.
On that note, we’d definitely advise booking early and following up with the team often. Regulars mentioned slots being pretty limited, so it can be tricky to book them on short notice.

We’ve got vacationers around El Paso to thank for this one! EPK9 Stay and Play got pretty popular as a pet boarding service first, so you can imagine our pleasant surprise when locals let us know that they offered in-home care as well.
Another factor that caught our attention was the team’s consultations. These reportedly helped customers and the team alike to get a feel for their pet’s general demeanor and whether they needed extra training, which determined how best to keep them engaged.
In addition to this, customers were also pretty happy with the team’s flexibility when it came to the number of pets! Prices and timing stayed largely the same no matter the number of pets, which can be handy for those with larger households.
Their boarding services weren’t anything to scoff at either. One factor regulars especially praised was the live camera access for pets that were boarded, providing owners an easy way to check in on their pets even from afar.
On that note, we’d still advise consulting with the team and planning a budget beforehand. Their in-home sitting services were at a higher price point than other sitters from what we’ve observed.

Well, the name doesn’t get clearer than this! If you’ve got a pet with more specific needs that need monitoring, then Premiere Pet Sitters was quite the recommendation from locals around El Paso! With that kind of reception, how could we resist?
A factor we immediately appreciated was how responsive the communication from the team was. Upon reaching out, we got an answer back from the team without much of a wait at all, providing us details on their services and supported areas.
From here, we got to hear about the variety of pets they could sit for and weren’t disappointed. The team could attend to cats and dogs of course, but we also noted their support for various pet fish and birds.
What stood out to customers we spoke to was the end of day reports and updates, however. These reportedly went pretty in depth into their care, helping customers track when their pets ate, where they went on walks, and much more.
If you’re planning to book them to look after your pet, we’d advise trying to visit them or giving them a call. Some regulars mentioned the team taking longer to respond online.

On our visit, the first thing we noticed was the pricing. Their rates were pretty transparent, accounting for whether the pet needed a drop-in or overnight service and the pet’s size.
Their schedule was easily accessible to customers as well! Regulars helpfully filled us in on the team’s timeliness, as they were available to be booked even on short notice and during holidays like Christmas, Labor Day and more.
