There’s something magical about walking into a cozy shop when you’re craving a steaming bowl of noodles.
Finding gems like that can feel like a treasure hunt, since the best ramen shops in El Paso have really stepped up their food game lately. I’ve spent plenty of afternoons slurping through different broths and chatting with fellow noodle lovers to see which spots truly stand out.
There are amazing restaurants in the city for every kind of palate, but this list sticks to places that nail quality and that soul-warming feeling only a great bowl gives you.
How much does ramen cost in El Paso?
A standard bowl of noodles in the city is pretty affordable. It usually falls between $10.00 and $20.00, depending on how complex your chosen ingredients are.
| Ramen Type | Price Range |
| Standard (Vegetable and Basic Pork) | $10.00 – $17.00 |

1. Umami Ramen House

Website: https://umamiramenhouse.com/
Address: 5380 N Mesa St, Suite 110
Contact: (915) 304-3111
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 10:30 AM – 10:00 PM
If you’re hunting for a bowl packed with serious dedication, you have to visit this Mesa Street gem.
Chef Lu opened Umami Ramen House in 2020 with a focus on authentic Japanese flavors. The rich broth here is simmered from pork bones for 10 to 12 hours every single day!
You really get a sense of tradition here, especially with offerings like the Tsukemen Tsujita style, where the noodles and soup arrive in separate bowls for dipping.
A great bonus is that you can grab a 10% discount for orders placed straight through their website.
Just keep in mind the menu leans heavily into pork. If you want a clearly labeled vegan or vegetarian broth, you’ll feel a bit limited by the current selection.
Amazing food
This ramen house certainly has some amazing food to offer up here in Mesa. The service was excellent and the atmosphere added to the experience of eating here. Amazing steamed dumplings too! Absolutely recommend trying this place out.

2. Yamaguchi Ramen Bar

Website: https://yamaguchiramen.com/
Address: 1700 N Zaragoza Rd, Suite 151
Contact: (915) 615-5193
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Friday-Saturday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Sometimes you just need a serious kick of heat to wake up your taste buds. A Yamaguchi Ramen Bar regular I chatted with swore the ghost pepper shoyu was the ultimate test for any spice fan! They grind the peppers in-house so the heat stays fresh and potent.
This restaurant is known for its cultural fusion, especially the birria ramen with its savory beef broth and tender shredded meat.
You can also build your own bowl from scratch if you have a very specific lunch in mind.
However, because they lean so hard into inventive fusion dishes, purists might find the menu a little less traditional than a standard Japanese noodle bar.
Everything was absolutely delicious
Everything was absolutely delicious! This was our first time trying a ramen spot, and I kept an open mind while exploring a new cuisine—I ended up loving it! The orange chicken was a solid 10/10—seriously to die for! Dessert was tasty too, even though the breading was a bit thick, but it was still so good. The ramen was packed with flavor, and we kicked it up a notch with the table Sriracha sauce. Highly recommend giving this place a try—10/10! Customer service top tier!!!!! I mean just perfect!

If you love birria, get the birria ramen
Food is amazing. If you love Birria, get the Birria ramen. Given. Amazing. If you’re not a fan of Ramen, get the orange chicken. Amazing!! The sampler was great too, my kids loved their chicken broth ramen. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was out fast. Highly recommend!

3. Jun’s Ramen & Sushi

Address: 7933 N Mesa St R
Contact: (915) 500-5066, (915) 500-5856
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Friday-Saturday, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM; Sunday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Jun’s Ramen & Sushi is great for those who can’t decide between a fresh sushi roll and a hot bowl of soup.
This restaurant has a calm, traditional feel that makes it great for a focused meal. You can tell they put real work into the presentation and the quality of their ingredients, so each dish feels like a complete experience.
Diners constantly praise the service for being attentive without ever making anyone feel rushed out the door. It’s the kind of place where you can trust the attention to detail in every bite.
One minor catch is that the strictly vegetarian selection is pretty limited, both for the ramen and the sides.
The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked
We highly recommend that El Paso residents experience this establishment. Their offerings include sushi, ramen, tempura, and various other dishes, all prepared with exceptional quality. The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth, which is crucial to outstanding ramen, was particularly noteworthy. We are confident you will not be disappointed.

Their ramen is super fresh
This is my favorite ramen place in El Paso. We drive all the way from Cruces to dine here whenever we can. Their ramen is super fresh and made with good quality ingredients. Their chili oil is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. Reasonable prices, big portions. Their veggie tempura is also one of the best that I’ve tried. Def recommend this place!

4. Gom Ramen

Website: https://www.gomramen.com/
Address: 1821 Hunter Dr
Contact: (915) 300-1110
Hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Stepping away from the usual pork bases can be really refreshing when you want to try something new. Gom Ramen specializes in a Korean-style beef broth built on a treasured family recipe that was once made for royalty! I love that the Angus brisket melts right into the soup.
My last visit reminded me why it’s so popular: the handmade noodles had a perfect chewiness from being crafted in-house with premium flour.
Diners can dial in their spice level too, from a mild zero to a scorching level three.
The focus on quality is impressive, but the menu is intentionally small, so the appetizer options can feel a bit sparse.
Not your typical Americanized ramen
Very small and quaint cottage like restaurant that did not disappoint. Not your typical Americanized Ramen, seemed very authentic. Great plate presentation, calming atmosphere with simple decor and good service. Food was tasty, we ordered the Gom Ramen level 2 with a side of Kimchi. We ordered the Mandu that had a great tasting dipping sauce. To drink we ordered the Gom coffee and Honey plum tea, both were great! We will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Such a cozy little ramen spot
Such a cozy little ramen spot! I had the Gom ramen spice level 2 (out of 0-3) and it was delicious! The ramen itself was $10 and any add-ons such as cheese, kimchi, or extra meat are between 2-3 dollars. The service was superb and I had my food within 5 minutes of ordering! Will definitely be coming back!

5. Sakura Ramen

Website: https://www.sakuraramenelpaso.com/
Address: 2000 Lee Trevino Dr, Ste F
Contact: (915) 704-4045
Hours: Daily, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Sakura Ramen is a reliable restaurant that keeps the whole family happy. They run a broad Asian fusion menu with items like spicy miso alongside fresh poke bowls and sweet teriyaki chicken.
You can also finish off your meal with sweet treats like mochi ice cream.
It’s a versatile pick for casual dining, and it’s also a solid lead if you’re scouting caterers in El Paso, since the kitchen handles diverse orders beautifully.
A couple more bonuses are that they offer free parking and easy carryout for those busy weeknights when cooking just isn’t happening.
The only trade-off is that because they cover so many Asian cuisines, they’re a little less specialized in traditional ramen-crafting techniques.
This place definitely hit the nail
First of all, I’m not a huge Ramen expert guy. However I do like trying something new and this place definitely hit the nail when it comes to ramen. I had the Miso ramen and it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere is pretty chill and good music was there. Staff was really friendly. Will definitely stop by again. Absolutely worth it.
