Picking the dress is something incredibly personal and important! In the lead-up to my own big day, I could trust my wedding planner to streamline the booking and other processes, but picking out my dress was strictly for me, my family, and my ladies!
Now let me let you in on a secret: one of my friends is getting married soon, so she got our help with looking into wedding dresses here in El Paso! We made a girls’ day of it, coming up with these boutiques as our personal must-visits for that perfect dress.

Picking out a wedding dress is a daunting task, especially if you’re not sure where to even start looking! Keeping this in mind, we looked into bridal boutiques that could offer great advice and various designs as a starting point, which led us to Bridal Novias.
Right off the jump, we have to praise the staff. We were greeted warmly upon entering, and we were easily able to approach any of the team members to help us take a stroll and look through their dress options.
There was no shortage of dress options here, which we loved. They were home to a wide range of bridal dresses as well as those suited to other special occasions, such as quinceañera and prom dresses.
With so many options, it could be a little intimidating to know where to start. Luckily, the staff kept us supported throughout the process, helping us pick out a few designs to start and keeping our bride’s tastes in mind!
On that note, we did notice that they also offered dress steaming and alteration services. That said, we did hear that these could take some time, which could delay the arrival of your dress.

Hit up any newlywed around El Paso and there’s a chance they’ll mention David’s Bridal. This spot was a surprising hit among grooms for their tailoring services, so we wanted to see if their bridal lines lived up to the hype!
The first thing we noticed was the pricing, especially once we got to their showroom. The team was more than happy to show us around their dresses for various price ranges, ranging from the budget-friendly to downright luxurious.
Of course, we took the chance to ask about their alteration services. We were pleased to find these being rather attentive, with the team closely keeping each client’s measurements in mind and incorporating any accessory into the design.
We also appreciated the timeliness of the team. These alterations reportedly finished quickly, and dresses were shipped out in a timely fashion after ordering. Definitely a plus in our book for brides looking to get their dress early!
That said, we did have trouble checking the availability of certain dresses. We were eyeing a specific dress displayed but were informed that they only had the floor model, with the color we wanted being out of stock.

Going dress shopping is one great way to bond with your bridesmaids, especially if you’re trying to capture the perfect, coordinated look. During our search, one of our favorite spots to bond at was Ella Blu!
The main draw for our group was the wide variety of bridal appointments. These were private styling sessions to let bridal parties comfortably browse, make a day of it, and even be wined and dined with sweets and champagne!
Browsing made up half the fun for us as well. The shop itself was very easy to navigate, and we had no trouble looking into dresses tailored by specific designers. These included collections from Allure Bridals, Martina Liana and Stella York.
Adding onto that, we were also pleased by the wide range of sizes accommodated. We especially liked their range of plus-size dresses, which we found very accommodating for our bride and members of our group.
However, we would absolutely recommend ordering early if you’re planning to get a dress from here. The team let us know about the length of time it took for dresses to be shipped out, and we found these delivery dates rather long.

Sometimes, the best way to pick a dress can be as simple as heading into a boutique, browsing, and then walking out with it the very same day. In that case, our favorite spot for this ended up being Bridal Quince by Elodia!
This was one of the few boutiques we didn’t book advanced appointments at, so we were relieved by how accommodating the staff was despite us just walking in. Definitely a plus for those looking to shop on the go.
Speaking of the team, we were pleased by their attentiveness as well. The team was able to guide us through their various options, letting us know about the general price ranges for each design and to what extent we could have dresses altered.
To top it all off, we were also surprised by the costs of their dresses! We found these remarkably budget-friendly, especially for the materials used and the complexity of some of the designs.
With that in mind, we do have to note that the measurements of the dresses could be a little off the mark even after alteration and fitting. We’d definitely recommend measuring yourself and keeping these recorded before you go in to buy.

Looking for a one-stop to get the perfect, matching look for the bride, bridesmaid and even mother dresses all in one? So were we, especially to match our bride’s exacting tastes. Our search finally turned up Windsor, and boy were we in for a treat!
Even before browsing, one thing we appreciated was how easy the boutique was to visit. With a spot right in the Cielo Vista Mall, we had no trouble parking and were able to find the boutique with minimal directions.
What we found there didn’t disappoint. Windsor was home to a wide range of dresses in varied designs, whether your bride would like the traditional, long white ball gown or prefer an A-line midi dress.
We were also struck by the range of accessories they had readily available! Our group had fun browsing through their shoes, jewelry and even perfumes to add that perfect complement to the dress.
One thing we struggled with was the wait to get into the dressing rooms. We came on a busier day, so there was quite the line when we swung by! We’d definitely recommend coming in early if you’re planning to try on many dresses.
