There’s something for everyone

We stopped in to check out the mission and a quite large gift shop.  They have a wide assortment of local artists’ wares.  There’s something for everyone there in all sort of price points.  They have crafty items as well as skilled creations.

There’s something for everyone staff

The ladies at the gift shop were amazing. So friendly and helpful. We had custom rosaries made to match one of our mothers rosary and they are just as beautiful 🤍 and we picked up a couple of other beautiful pieces as well! …

If you’re in a hurry or need essential wrapping supplies, it’s a great spot for fast, convenient shopping. In fact, you can even avail their gift delivery service if you want!

Just keep in mind that the main focus here is on paper goods and branded ornaments. You might not find much in the way of local or one-of-a-kind crafts, so it’s not the place for something deeply regional.

Cons

  • Limited local artisan crafts
  • Lacks strong regional character

Customer Reviews:

It is a beautiful shop with so many items

I’m from Las Cruces, and  have missed these lovely gift stores– our last one closed a few years ago. And this one is so terrific. It is a beautiful shop with so many items that range from fun, beautiful, charming, witty, sweet, classic, modern– a great variety. The selection is well thought-out. My daughter and I easily killed an hour in there, and we love the special items that we purchased.

Love this shop

I love this shop. They have tons of variety and tons of great gifts. From crystal angels to stuffed animals covered in sequins. If You want a thoughtful, beautiful & just plain COOL gift; this is the shop to go to. Especially great gifts for Girlie Girls or Church Friends, Family etc…

3. Xicali Imports

Website: http://www.xicaliimports.com/

Address: 7824 North Loop Dr.

Contact: 915-598-4427

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Xicali Imports is a great spot if you’re looking for genuine Mexican imports, like colorful Talavera tiles and traditional apparel that add some real brightness to your living space.

You can check out their awesome collection of ceramic figures and cozy hoodies too, all handcrafted by regional artisans.

We talked to the manager, and he explained how they carefully select each piece from local craftspeople. This definitely makes the collection feel even more authentic!

Unfortunately, the shop mainly focuses on classic Mexican styles. The variety of contemporary or modern pieces is pretty limited.

If you love that borderland vibe or want something traditional, you’ll find what you need here, but it’s not the best spot for more current looks.

Pros

  • Authentic Mexican imports
  • Colorful Talavera tiles
  • Traditional apparel choices
  • Unique tabletop ceramic figures

Cons

  • Limited modern or contemporary styles
  • Selection mainly traditional Mexican imports

Customer Reviews:

Unique stylish products

A large selection of regional, religious and culturally inspired designs in their various products. They have a huge variety of items for sale to decorate your homes living spaces, bedrooms, patios, porch and more! Prices are super competitive and their products are unique and stylish 😎 …

There is so much to see and enjoy

I have seen this store flourish for such a long time. There is so much to see and enjoy from pottery, to plants, wall art, furniture, tile, blankets and more. I have been coming here for over 10 years!!! There is a second floor that offers larger pieces. You have to see the entire inventory for yourself!

4. Mission Del Rey Southwest

mission-del-rey-southwest

Website: https://www.missiondelrey.com/

Address: 1421 N. Lee Trevino Dr. Suite A7

Contact: 915-440-2140

Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

If you want to bring some real regional style into your home, Mission Del Rey Southwest’s expansive showroom is a great place to start.

They specialize in authentic Native American artifacts and rustic Southwestern decor, so your space instantly gets a classic, desert-inspired vibe.

You’ll find items like Navajo decorative arrows and hand-painted pottery steer skulls that look amazing as statement pieces in your living room or office.

Just don’t expect to find wearable items here like you might at a typical jewellery shop. Their focus is on larger pieces that really stand out in your home, not on personal accessories.

And since everything is strongly Southwestern and rustic, the overall look is pretty bold, which might not suit fans of modern or minimalist styles.

Pros

  • Authentic Native American artifacts
  • Great for classic desert styling
  • Unique rustic Southwestern décor pieces
  • Navajo arrows and pottery skulls

Cons

  • Few modern or minimalist options
  • Focuses on statement home pieces

Customer Reviews:

Very convenient

I passed here to collect some souvenirs. The shop is very large and has a wide selection of items even Christmas ornaments.

It is very convenient if you are a group and have different tastes. You will find everything you need.

It was close to the hotel where I was staying so it was a great place to get some souvenirs.

You will find souvenir gifts and rustic decor and food as well. They are open from 9 al to 5 pm.

Amazing store

This was such an amazing store with blankets galore, and more. They even had moccasins all at a great price. I loved they sold foods such as chili, pecans etc all from local vendors. Great products blankets, jewelry, cow hides. I loved that they had these adorable tiny pieces for doll houses that a Hispanic household grew up with..

5. El Guardián De Guadalupe

el-guardian-de-guadalupe

Website: https://el-guardian-de-guadalupe.square.site

Address: 7021 Alameda Ave Ste B

Contact: 915-566-3086

Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm

El Guardián De Guadalupe is a peaceful shop that focuses on Catholic devotional items and decorations for home altars or church spaces.

You’ll find plenty of Saint Benedict crosses in different sizes here, along with must-haves like rosaries and wearable religious accessories.

Even better, the quiet atmosphere lets you take your time picking out meaningful gifts for baptisms or special celebrations, so it never feels rushed.

But since the selection really centers around Catholic items, this shop may not have what you want if you’re looking for non-religious or more general souvenirs.

Still, for anyone needing traditional spiritual goods, it’s a beautiful choice.

Pros

  • Large Saint Benedict cross selection
  • Essential religious devotionals
  • Beautiful home sanctuary statues
  • Wearable spiritual accessories

Cons

  • Limited non-religious products available
  • Not suited for general souvenirs
