DOC’s Unique Collectibles works best if your idea of a toy store leans more toward display shelves, pop culture history, and serious collector pieces.
The shop is an authorized retailer for Sideshow Collectibles. It carries detailed 1:6 scale figures from names like Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys.
That makes it a strong stop for anyone hunting for premium figures, limited statues, vintage toys, or custom pieces that would be hard to find at a regular mall shop.
We also like that they carry framed artwork, so the store feels more like a place to build a full display room than just grab one item and leave.
The tradeoff is clear, though. This is not the strongest pick for elementary school kids or toddlers, and popular high-end releases may require pre-orders instead of same-day pickup.

Definitely worth the visit
Very cool store! So many collectibles!!! They have lots of funko pops and a large variety of action figure collectibles and many other things. They do not have Pokémon cards or any collectible cards and they don’t have many mystery collectibles. So this place is primarily for figures. The staff was super helpful and kind, it’s definitely worth the visit

Bricks & Minifigs El Paso is the kind of place that can turn an old bin of bricks into a fresh afternoon project.
The store focuses on LEGO resale, with a Trade Desk where families can sell or trade old pieces, sets, and minifigures.
We liked that the setup feels useful for both kids who want something new and collectors looking for retired sets or missing parts.
The place is also a great birthday party venue because of its birthday party option. Kids can build their own themed creations instead of just sitting through a standard party package.
The only catch is that the best finds depend on what people bring in. Used inventory changes constantly, so you usually need to visit the store in person rather than rely on the website for a full picture of what is available.

Wow so excited to have this store here in El Paso. If you like legos and minifgs then this is where you want to go. We got lucky and found exactly what we were looking for and got great ideas for personalized minifgs. Lots of random parts too and nice selection of weapons.

Hal’s Hobby Warehouse feels like a classic hobby shop in the best way. The 4,500-square-foot facility was originally founded by Hal Hirshenmier in 1954, and that long history shows in how specialized the place feels.
The biggest draw is the indoor remote-controlled (RC) racing setup, including an off-road course built with 34 truckloads of clay. We would bring older kids, teens, or adult hobbyists here before anyone looking for a quick preschool toy.
They also carry diecast models, rockets, model trains, and science-focused kits.
However, the store leans heavily into vehicles, kits, and technical hobbies. If you need dolls, plushies, or simple board games, another shop may fit better.

Great hobby shop. They have everything you could want plus some. Visited from Houston and brought my RC car. They had a really nice on road track that was free to the public and I got to spend an hr driving around. Don’t forget to support your local hobby shop. Definitely would recommend

Build-A-Bear Workshop is the easiest pick when the shopping trip needs to feel like an activity, not just a purchase.
Kids get to choose, stuff, dress, and personalize their own furry friend, which makes the final toy feel more memorable. My niece still carries around the bunny we made here last summer, and the personalized voice recording inside is still her favorite detail.
We also appreciate the Pay Your Age deal for the Birthday Treat Bear during a child’s birthday month. It gives parents a more budget-friendly way to make the visit feel special.
The drawback is the mall setting. The store can get crowded on weekends, and birthday parties need planning ahead if you want to avoid the busiest midday rush.

Disney Store Outlet is a strong stop if your gift list includes Marvel, Star Wars, princesses, or anything with classic Disney characters.
The outlet setting gives shoppers a chance to find authentic Disney merchandise without the theme park price tag.
Because it is an outlet, the real advantage is the possibility of finding Disney Parks items or discounted apparel that feels a little more special than standard toy aisle stock.
We also like that the dedicated Toy Emporium section makes it easy to browse action figures, play sets, and character keepsakes without wandering the whole store.
The downside is inventory consistency. Overstock changes can vary by visit, and the store may not always have the newest movie toys right when they launch.

This was my family’s first time going into a Disney store and we loved it. My daughter got a doll that she enjoys. They were only letting a certain number of people in at a time, but it was pretty busy at the time we went.
