Custom cakes in El Paso typically start from around $5–$8 per serving for standard designs. Wedding and quinceañera cakes can run from $300 to $1,000+ depending on tiers, design complexity, and delivery distance.

Chantilly Cakes is a women-owned El Paso bakery where every cake is made fresh in their kitchen.
We love that there’s no frozen products, and no shortcuts. The design process is hands-on. Customers share their vision, they get a quote, and then come in for a consultation and tasting before anything is finalised.
The flavour range is awesome. The Classic Vanilla with strawberry jam is sweet and like a strawberry shortcake.
The Double Chocolate with chocolate buttercream is slightly rich but delicious. Others said the Red Velvet, and Piña Colada cake texture was moist and full of flavour.
Flavours aside, for weddings, we love that they can coordinate directly with florists, decorators, or event planners, so the cake fits the look of the whole room.
Delivery and setup on the day are handled by Chantilly throughout El Paso and surrounding areas.
The only thing is their custom cakes are made to order only. They have no same-day custom options. At least, their online store has everyday cakes ready for pickup in under 48 hours.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a national chain, and what makes them popular is the consistency.
We’ve had one of their cakes before, and we always know what we’re getting. Most of the cakes we’ve had are moist, rich, and finished with their signature frosting.
The carrot cake in particular has a dedicated following. People we spoke to love the healthy sweetness it has.
Cakes are available for same-day pickup in multiple sizes from individual bundtlets to large presentation pieces. For a corporate gift, a last-minute birthday, or a dessert for a small gathering, that availability is hard to beat.
The gift packaging is adorable too. We love that the boxes look like a present without any extra effort.
For wedding venues hosting bridal showers or rehearsal dinners where a dessert needs to look put-together quickly, we think this is the easiest option on the list.
But Nothing Bundt Cakes doesn’t do fully custom multi-tier designs. So, for a statement wedding cake built to a specific vision, a custom bakery is needed.

Délice Bakehouse describes itself as a custom dessert studio, and that positioning is accurate. With over a decade of experience, they specialise in cakes that look like they belong in a photo shoot and they taste as good as they look.
Customers we interviewed raved about how delicious each flavour they tested was. We like that the design process is thorough. They want to know the theme, the colour palette, the specific feel of the event. That research shows in the final product.
For those building a full dessert table, Délice also makes custom cookies and specialty sweet treats, so customers can source the entire spread from them.
Their work photographs exceptionally well too. The artistry is detailed and deliberate.
Our only complaint? The lead time on custom orders is long, especially for Saturdays and holidays. Popular dates book out weeks in advance. So, customers with a specific event date in mind should reach out earlier than they think they need to.

“OMG where do I start!! I love great customer service and let me say she outdid herself. I wanted to make my girlfriend’s birthday special and she had never had a custom cake. Let me tell you I was able to send her a picture and she went beyond my expectations and brought my vision to a reality!! She was patient, she communicated, and she gave recommendations. Bowie Bakery has been recognised as one of the best traditional bakery in the El Paso area, and the reputation is earned. We like that they’ve been doing this long enough to know what the community actually wants in a good cake.
The pan dulce and traditional Mexican pastries are what they’re best known for. But their tres leches cakes and celebration cakes are the real draw for us and families putting together a birthday or reunion where the food needs to feel like home.
We also appreciate that customers won’t drain their wallets completely with a single cake order. Bowie is a reliable option for those needing cakes on a budget.
That said, since Bowie is a traditional bakery, and not a custom design studio, their cake offerings are more standardised than bespoke.
For highly individualised visual themes, customers would need to look elsewhere. However, for flavour and cultural authenticity, they are one of our top picks.

Today we went to grab a dozen tamales as we had heard they were some of the best in town.
Unfortunately we had to wait as they were having issues with their oven.
Let’s just say they made it worth our wait!

Lillie’s Bakery specialises in round cakes, and what makes them stand out is their photo cake option.
We love that customers can choose their flavour, filling, and colours and can add a photo of the person being celebrated right on the cake.
For milestone birthdays, retirements, and surprise parties, that moment of recognition when the cake comes out is hard to replicate.
Their range covers round buttercream, whipped cream, and Tres Leches. Although we haven’t tried all their flavours yet, their Tres Leches is a cake to remember. We love how moist and sinfully sweet it is.
No matter what cake customers get, they can be customised. We also like that the ordering process is straightforward: build the cake, specify the pickup date, and they take it from there.
That said, Lillie’s is made-to-order only. So, they have no same-day availability. Customers will need to plan ahead and include their pickup date when they order.
