We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Expertise and Instruction: We focused on studios that feature highly trained ballet instructors with a strong emphasis on proper technique. This ensures that students of all levels receive safe and structured guidance to develop their skills.

  • Service Range: It was important to look for facilities that offer diverse options, such as children's classes, pointe training, and adult programs. A wide selection allows family members to find the exact style and level they need

  • Safety and Quality: We prioritized environments that use proper equipment, like sprung floors, to prevent dancer injuries during rigorous practice. Small class ratios were also key to making sure every student gets individual attention.

  • Value and Feedback: We evaluated the overall cost of monthly tuition against the performance opportunities and recital options. Checking local community experiences helped us confirm which studios keep parents and dancers happy.

Finding the right studio to foster a love for dance can feel overwhelming, especially with so many options around town. If you’re looking for the best ballet class in El Paso, you want a place that balances proper technique with a truly encouraging atmosphere.

Best ballet school

Best ballet school My daughter could ever had been.

Extraordinary performances on theater.

Great professionalism and teaching, my daughter has improved her ballet skills in only 4 months.  I’m more than amazed and satisfied with Miss Kantz teaching and all her crew.

I cannot wait to see nutcracker performances and more!

Highly recommend

Without a doubt, this is the best ballet school I’ve ever visited. The teachers are the best, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to study ballet.

Address: 9417 Montana Ave

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

British Ballet Academy offers structured dance education on Montana Avenue. From what we’ve seen, this academy provides curriculum-based programs across various styles tailored to hone individual abilities for all ages.

Here, they beautifully combine proper body mechanics with a deep respect for the history of classical dance. Young children can even start with early-age combination classes that gently introduce movement.

Another plus is the in-house shop, which conveniently supplies students with all their necessary attire and dance gear.

Just take note that they rely heavily on a strict curriculum-based approach. This might limit learning flexibility if you want a casual, non-linear path.

Pros

  • Comprehensive multi-style dance training
  • Early-age combination classes available
  • Convenient on-site dance attire shop
  • Focuses on proper body mechanics

Cons

  • Rigid curriculum limits flexibility

Superb instructors

My daughter has taken classes at Champion Studios and here. The space may be smaller here, but the quality of the class delivery by the instructors is superb! There is little to no down time from start to finish. Just enough time to change shoes (she’s 6 and in a duo class). I appreciate that. I feel we are getting what we pay for. And my daughter absolutely LOVES her class. The minute class ends she asks how long til we can come back. We have found our dance studio!

Good experience

My 3 year old absolutely loves her dance class. I’ve never had to force her to attend her classes or hear complaints. She’s always ecstatic to go! She’s learned so much and really pays attention to Ms. Vanessa who is also pretty great with the girls. I’m so glad this studio was recommended to me by a family friend.

My favorite

Its like a big family here! All the teachers are so sweet and talented. They really take the time to break everything down for each student. The prices are VERY reasonable. I’ve danced at many, many studios over the years and this one is my favorite!

Happy place

“Her first class will be Saturday June 9th at 10am”. That was the very first of many texts, emails, and calls from the studio since 2018. The Dance studio is my child’s happy place. The price is best in town. The instructors are strong confident skilled  professional and most importantly, dancers. The owners and the office have made this entire experience an absolute joy. Recitals & performances are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Roots Dance Center helps develop deep physical awareness in ballet. This facility builds strong fundamentals in technique while fostering teamwork and artistic expression in a family-friendly space.

The classes even connect physical education with brain function to help dancers improve their cognitive growth. We spoke directly with a parent who mentioned how much the manual stretching sessions helped correct her child’s muscle posture.

On top of that, there’s specialized attention in every private lesson. This approach really helps students thrive, even in semi-private sessions.

One downside to consider is that no refunds are given for absences or cancellations after your monthly autopay has processed. Still, the focus on emotional maturity makes this studio an incredible place to learn.

Pros

  • Custom private and semi-private options
  • Specialized manual muscle stretching sessions
  • Promotes critical thinking through movement

Cons

  • Autopay charges are non-refundable
