Feeling stressed is like carrying a backpack full of rocks everywhere you go. Most people in El Paso deal with stress the same way. They keep carrying the backpack and hope it gets lighter on its own. It never does.
Here is where yoga comes in. The breathing, the slow movements, and the quiet focus all work together like a repair crew for your brain. But only if someone teaches it the right way.
A bad yoga class is like a golf coach who never bothers to teach you a proper swing. The tricky part is that you cannot tell a good yoga studio from a bad one just by looking at it.
So we did the work for you. We visited studios, tested classes, and spoke to regular students to find out which ones are the best yoga studios in El Paso.
How much does it cost to take a yoga class in El Paso?
It costs at least $15 to take a yoga class in El Paso. This is just an estimate. The actual cost is dependent on the yoga studio and kind of yoga class.
1. KIN

Address: 4111 N Mesa St Front
Contact Details: +1 915-926-6001
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM
- Friday – 6:30 AM to 11 AM
- Saturday – 7 AM to 12 PM
KIN Yoga and Wellness Center is dedicated to the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It weaves together anatomy, biomechanics, philosophy, and meditation into a single practice.
One thing that stood out immediately was their emphasis on small group classes. For anyone searching for El Paso beginner yoga classes that do not feel overwhelming, KIN is worth putting at the top of the list.
We appreciated that each student got detailed attention on every pose. Regulars we interviewed said the smaller class environment feels closer to a private session. That kind of individual attention shows in how students progress.
The instructors at KIN are welcoming and kind in a way that goes beyond surface-level friendliness. People we spoke to mentioned that instructors offer adjustments without making anyone feel singled out.
That said, the small group format means spots fill up quickly. We recommend booking ahead instead of just dropping in for a class.
Only place in El Paso where you will be practice traditional Ashtanga.
“Amazing teachers and amazing studio! This is the only place in El Paso where you will be practice traditional Ashtanga. Ale has valuable years of experience and has an unparalleled knowledge of anatomy with all yoga movements. Quite frankly she is the most knowledgeable and devoted yoga teacher I have encountered! Give this place a go!”

Has a superb knowledge of ashtanga, yoga overall and proper form and breath work
“I love, love, love this studio. I have been a yoga teacher for seven years and a student for 15. I have learned more about Ashtanga in the last six months than the other 14 and a half years combined. Since practicing at Kin I’ve lost 17 lbs, my body is stronger and healthier but most importantly I have more peace of mind. Ale has helped me become a better yoga instructor as well. She has a superb knowledge of ashtanga, yoga overall and proper form and breath work. Ale is the teacher that yoga teachers go to! Whether you are a seasoned yoga practitioner, an athlete or sedentary this is a studio that will improve your quality of life in every facet.!”

2. Hot Box Yoga

Operating Hours:
- Monday & Tuesday – 9:40 AM to 8:30 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday – 9:40 AM to 5:40 PM

El Paso runs on dry heat. Hot Box Yoga does the opposite on purpose. The studio adds humidity to their heated classes because moist heat and dry heat feel completely different on the lungs.
Regulars who come here said the hot classes have helped them relax more, feel greater flexibility, and experience increased detoxification.
The Hot Stretch class, the one we tried, runs in a dimly lit room at up to 105 degrees. We appreciated that the sequence is set and slow, moving through deep lengthening poses targeting the body’s full range of motion.
People we spoke to said that after a few sessions of hot yoga, they noticed a genuine difference in their mobility.
Others rave about the Warm Flow and Restore class. People like that the first half warms the body through movement. The second half targets deeper connective tissue like ligaments and tendons.
We think it is impressive that they offer a Senior Chair Yoga class for adults 55 and older. It stood out to us as a sign that Hot Box thinks beyond their core demographic.
One thing worth knowing before visiting, though, is that children under 16 are not permitted.
“I’ve been coming to this studio for a little over a month and I LOVE it!! The owner, Kat, is super friendly, as well as all the yoga instructors. They really care about making sure your form is correct when doing certain poses. The hot classes are HOT, so definitely come prepared for that!”

“Hotbox has been my go-to hot yoga studio for about a decade. It is hands down the best studio in town. The instructors push you to your limits, creating an environment for growth of practice like no other. I have taken classes at tons of studios across the nation and a common theme seems to be that the “hot” yoga classes are never hot enough… But that has never been the case at hot box! If you want to take the heat intensity down a notch they also offer warm classes that are relaxing and cater to all levels. Do yourself a favor and book your next class here!”

3. Surya Yoga

Address: 5001 N Mesa St #2
Contact Details: +1 915-600-5965
Operating Hours:
- Monday – 9 AM to 8:30 PM
- Tuesday – 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM & 4 PM to 8:30 PM
- Wednesday – 9 AM to 11 AM & 5 PM to 8:30 PM
- Thursday – 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM & 4 PM to 9 PM
- Friday – 9 AM to 12 PM & 5 PM to 7 PM
- Saturday – 8:30 AM to 12 PM
- Sunday – 10 AM to 12 PM
Surya Yoga philosophy centers on refining breath, movement, and alignment in a space built on respect, patience, and grace. We love that their classes reflect that in how they teach by form and levels.
Their form classes focus heavily on alignment and work with props to help students find their best positioning in each pose. Students we spoke to appreciate that their All Levels classes welcome everyone.
Those looking for vinyasa yoga El Paso style will find two distinct options here. The standard Vinyasa class links movement to breath with less rest between poses, while Gentle Flow slows everything down into a meditative, grounding experience.
We like that the Vin Yin class opens with a vinyasa flow and closes with a yin practice, targeting the hips, legs, and spine through longer held poses.
For those looking to go further, they run international retreats including destinations like Portugal, Croatia, Finland, and the Scottish Highlands.
The only gripe is that there is a 30 minute cancellation policy, and late entry is not permitted after a five minute grace period.
Becoming more in tuned with the capabilities of my body.
“Before I found Surya yoga, my yoga practice was one dimensional and limited. I’ve grown so much in this welcoming, dynamic community and feel very comfortable in my own body and my practice. I’m surprised myself with all the new movements, and poses that I’ve learned rapidly in the past couple of years. More importantly, it’s definitely escape from my day-to-day life and helps me practice mindfulness, but becoming more in tuned with the capabilities of my body. Definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed!!! 🧘🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️”

This class taps into deeper feelings
“I wish everyone can experience the peace, calmness, deep connection and mindfulness that Cassandra awakes in her Yin class. This class taps into deeper feelings, the ones you feel will never detach. Her expertise, her voice, essence and authenticity drives you to a deep consciousness of mind, body, and soul. SHE IS THE BEST!”

4. Shanti Yoga

Address: 1201 Airway Blvd ste D1
Shanti Yoga’s Buti Cardio Burn is a 60-minute class that fuses plyometrics, primal movement, and kundalini yoga into one heated session.
Plyometrics means explosive jumping and power movements. Kundalini is an energy-focused yoga style that works with breath and rhythm.
The goal is to balance the masculine and feminine energy that everyone carries within them. Our team was drenched before the class even hit full pace.
The Power Flow Heated class is also a popular one. People we interviewed said it is never the same twice, which we think is exactly what keeps members coming back.
Shanti Yoga also uses infrared therapeutic heaters rather than conventional heat. Infrared warms the body directly like sunlight rather than heating the surrounding air.
It makes it easier to work out the muscles when transitioning between different yoga poses.
However, there are a few things to know before attending a class. They don’t allow cell phones, shoes, or any other unnecessary items (heavy bags, food, etc) in the yoga studios.
They also have a strict no-late-entry policy. The doors lock the moment class begins.
Great yoga studio with a variety of classes- heated and non-heated
“Shanti is a great yoga studio with a variety of classes- heated and non-heated. The owner and instructors have done an amazing job with creating a safe, friendly, and welcoming vibe and community. They truly care about your safety and growth as a yogi. The studio has mirrors and mats, blocks, and support blankets available in case you forget yours. Overall my favorite yoga studio in El Paso!”

The studio is beautiful
“lovely experience attending Norma’s Warm Chill Flow. the studio is beautiful, they have clear policies so you know what to expect, and best of all, as an instructor, Norma makes you feel welcomed and safe, but teaches a challenging class at the same time.”

5. HOTWORX – El Paso, TX – Cimarron

Address: 7456 Cimarron Market Ave
Contact Details: +1 915-910-7073
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 11 AM to 8 PM
- Friday – 9 AM to 6 PM
- Saturday – 9 AM to 2 PM
We love that HotWorx takes a different approach to hot yoga in El Paso. Instead of a traditional studio setting, workouts happen inside a personal infrared sauna pod.
They have sessions available 24 hours a day. For people who struggle to fit a fixed El Paso yoga studio schedule into their week, that kind of access is hard to find anywhere else.
Their classes run 30 minutes and fit up to three members per session. The sequence moves through foundational postures, works through a balancing series using static holds, and closes with core conditioning.
Regulars appreciate that the infrared heat absorbs into the body during every hold, which makes the shorter sessions more efficient than a longer conventional class.
They have two membership options. We like that the Sweat Basic plan covers unlimited infrared sauna workouts, 24/7 access to the home studio, and use of the functional exercise area.
However, the Sweat Elite plan expands access to all HotWorx locations, adds virtual personal training, and even a nutritionist tracking tool called DietTrax.
The only thing people have complained about is that they only do one kind of yoga here. So, people looking for more variety should try elsewhere.
I feel amazing
“I love HOTWORX so much! Yoga and Pilates are my go to sessions! I feel amazing it helps with my health problems! Special thanks to Tori who has been such a big motivation!”
- Wendy Valdez, Google Reviews
I really appreciate the flexibility of the sessions
“Absolutely love this place for working out! Highly recommend it. Renee was fantastic—she gave me a great tour on my first visit and made me feel right at home. I really appreciate the flexibility of the sessions, and the fact that it’s open 24/7 for members means I never have an excuse to skip a workout. So glad I found this spot!”
