Rio Grande Waste Services steps up to the plate when it comes to 24/7 service for both residential communities and businesses. Homeowners give high praise to their dependable weekly pickups.
Still, we did hear a few grumblings about Rio Grande not always picking up overflowing bins. But, at least when they do miss one, all people need to do is give them a call. They’ll send a truck out in the next hour or two.
Businesses really appreciate the flexibility of their front-load dumpsters.
A local restaurant owner liked that they could schedule their pickups to fit the ebbs and flows of their waste. This helped them to avoid overflowing dumpsters & those pesky health code fines.
They do offer a roll-off dumpster service too, but it’s a bit hit or miss. While they’ve got pretty competitive pricing and can let you keep the dumpster for a decent amount of time, their communication leaves a bit to be desired.
One homeowner had to call multiple times but got hung up on and never quite got the answers they were looking for.

What really sets them apart is their online ordering system that lets you pick the right dumpster size for your needs ( compact 10-yard bins right up to massive 40-yard demolition monsters ).
Their customers love that they can set a delivery date and even leave a note on the placement instructions. One construction foreman we talked to said that they wound up adjusting the dumpster’s position on the job site so a concrete pour could go off without a hitch.
We’re also fans of their mobile app. It’s mainly geared toward residential customers, but it does give contractors real service alerts on the fly.
One roofing company told us how the app tipped them off to a sudden landfill closure due to high winds, so they could reschedule their debris drop-off and avoid a wasted trip.

JUNK-JUNK El Paso hauls everything. They tackle the oddball jobs that others avoid. Their trucks load up everything from storm debris to estate sale leftovers.
What impressed us most was their hazardous waste expertise. For one auto repair shop, their team removed abandoned oil drums and contaminated soil, following strict EPA protocols.
Another property owner shared how JUNK-JUNK helped them with asbestos, coordinating with certified inspectors and disposal facilities.
But they’re not just about the toxic stuff. Their tree waste removal service is also efficient.
JUNK-JUNK once felled and hauled away a massive, storm-damaged pine tree in one homeowner’s backyard, grinding the stump and leaving the area spotless.
Their response time is just a bit disappointing. One property manager we talked to said he waited a week for JUNK-JUNK to haul away a pile of construction debris.
And while their pricing is generally decent, their quotes can be vague, leading to unexpected charges. One homeowner was surprised to find an extra fee for removing a particularly heavy refrigerator, despite disclosing its weight beforehand

“Eddie was able to get rid of a whole bunch of our yard waste and shed full of boxes from a recent move and purchased items. My wife had been giving me a hard time for months (rightfully so), so Eddie not only helped get rid of junk, but got me some solid brownie points as well. I gave Eddie a call at 2:00PM, and the pickup was complete by 4:30PM the same day. I’m sure I got lucky with timing, but based on his personality I’d imagine he would do all he could to get your pickup complete in a timely manner as well. He also hung around for a few extra minutes while I finalized some yard cleanuo so he could haul it off as well. All of this for an extremely fair price that was given as a free estimate prior to starting the pickup.”
