For larger pieces that are difficult to transport, that convenience is hard to beat.
The quality of the repair work leans toward restoration rather than full reupholstery. If a piece has structural issues alongside surface damage, Fibrenew is well-suited to address both in the same visit.
They are not necessarily the pick for dramatic fabric makeovers, but for getting furniture back to a solid, presentable state, they deliver.

Customers fill out a short form online, upload a couple of photos of the piece, describe what they want done, and they get a quote back within 24 hours. We love that this is perfect for people who dread calling around for prices.
Their shop offers pickup and delivery, making it easy to reupholster any heavy furniture pieces.
We also appreciate that the furniture lead times are honest and communicated clearly. Customers we spoke to said it typically ranges from a few days to about two weeks depending on how much work is involved.
Their fabric selection is solid too. We like how customers can bring in inspiration photos of looks they have seen elsewhere and the team will work to match the aesthetic.
Their collaborative approach sets them apart from shops that just ask customers to pick from a binder of samples.
For the most part, the actual upholstery process is smooth. All the finished pieces we saw looked clean and well-crafted.
The only minor gripe? They don’t offer mobile services.

We like that the shop is easy to find and the staff are straightforward to deal with. Customers bring their vehicle in, the staff assesses the work, and they give a clear sense of what it will take.
Turnaround times are reasonable for the type of work involved. Several people told us they picked up their car in a few days.
For anyone restoring a classic car or just trying to refresh a tired interior, the quality level here is genuinely good. The craftsmanship holds up well on closer inspection.
Stitching is even, materials are fitted tightly, and their finished seats look close to factory.
The main caveat is the scope. They don’t always do household or commercial furniture work. Their main priority is auto work.

Up-Rest is the name to know for any business owner dealing with worn-out seating.
They do it all: restaurant booths, hotel chairs, and more. Customers we interviewed said their upholstery work holds up against heavy daily use and looks respectable from across the room.
Other people told us that their upholstery team revived their beat up chairs and helped them pick the best commercial-grade fabrics. We like that they reinforce seams without being asked.
While they are set up for volume work rather than one-off pieces, their workmanship for single couches and chairs is still spot-on.
They are also realistic about the timeline and don’t promise a quick turnaround without seeing the scope first. Most people we spoke with said they picked up their furniture pieces in a week or less.
The customer service is warm and welcoming too. When we called in with a few questions, we weren’t dismissed or brushed aside.
The only slight issue we have with them is that they don’t have an easily accessible portfolio of the furniture they’ve restored. We had to get in touch with them and customers to see samples.

El Paso Quality Upholstery has been doing this long enough that they either know what people want or they will ask the right questions until they understand it.
We spoke to a few customers who brought in their sofas and appreciated that they wasted no time in recommending fabric swatches that matched.
We like that they don’t try to upsell customers on additional work. Customers we interviewed told us they brought in furniture that was nearly falling apart, but they only upholstered the parts requested.
Turnaround time is usually within two weeks. People told us when they picked up their couches, the re-cover was clean and even.
The seat profile looked right too. The coaches we’ve seen them do are not too flat, but not overstuffed.
Our only complaint is that they don’t have an online quoting tool. So, people need to call in advance to inquire about rates.
