Just when I was about to start pushing my car to the nearest mechanic out of pure spite, I finally got through a lifesaver. It took only 20 minutes, and the driver even handed me a cold Gatorade to help me cool down.

Pantusa Towing is a family-owned and operated business of 45 years. They’re known for their comprehensive range of services, covering light- to heavy-duty towing equipment transport, towing, and trucking.
With 24/7 availability, we find them reliable for both emergency roadside assistance and scheduled towing. A big part of this is their staff, who contact customers promptly and give accurate ETAs for peace of mind.
Based on past experiences, we can also say they’re experienced in navigating high-traffic and dangerous areas. They keep clients updated during the entire process, too, which is always a reassuring factor in a stressful situation.
As for the prices, they charge just within the city’s median, so they’re competitively set. Plus, customers said they never overcharged, even during instances of sudden changes in towing schedules.
It’s a shame to note, however, that the company isn’t the best when it comes to responding to damage complaints. The company is insured, which is great, but a few instances of vehicle damage made us feel concerned.
At least, this doesn’t seem like the norm, as this has only happened on a handful of occasions across the years.

J & V Towing has a strong reputation for quick response times, even for late-night and last-minute calls. Customers often mentioned to us that the owner himself, Juan, arrives promptly and deals with the situation efficiently.
This personalized, hands-on approach is something that we loved about the business too. Because of this, they’re able to deliver precision and care to each vehicle – most likely why they have zero reports of damage (or at least, that we’re aware of).
Communication is a strong point, with the owner promptly contacting the owner upon arrival. During transit, customers still receive updates so they’re not left in the dark waiting. Once the vehicle is towed, they’re then updated on the arrival at the destination.
The range of services is pretty solid, offering roadside assistance, battery assistance, and lockout help.
Towing services are available 24/7. As we’ve reviewed in their past history, they’ve never turned a call down.
Just take note that coverage outside El Paso can be limited – they work best within the city bounds. Plus, they have a fairly small fleet for large and heavy-duty towing.

We’re happy to note that the team is among the fastest we’ve timed when it comes to response. They arrive within 30 minutes of a call, making them a dependable choice for emergencies.
The pricing is also pretty affordable. Compared to other competitors in the area, they charge only a fraction of the cost.
Communication is noteworthy for being clear and consistent. Every client is notified promptly of their estimated time of arrival (which, as we’ve reviewed, is highly accurate).
They also explain the entire towing process so clients understand what happens during and after. We’re glad that their staff has a friendly and caring attitude, so clients feel supported rather than stressed.
As far as the bad side goes, the only complaint we received was a few mentions of an initially curt or unfriendly tone from the office staff. Fortunately, the clients also mentioned that the staff tend to warm up soon enough into the conversation.

FarWest is our best bet when it comes to expert motorcycle towing. They’re popular among locals for providing professional services, occasionally accommodating special towing requests when possible.
Their response and transport are both timely, often arriving faster than expected. They’re prompt even for cross-town breakdowns, so we find them a solid choice for emergency situations.
The prices are reasonable considering the level of service provided. We even find them to be among the most affordable options in town, though that is considering the fact that they focus on light-duty towing.
The quality of work and care is also praiseworthy. Among the repeat clients we interviewed, it’s clear that there were no issues of damage – all thanks to their safe handling and proper care from tow to transport.
Obviously, their biggest drawback is their limited specialization to motorcycle towing (though we also consider this one of their biggest advantages). Plus, as a smaller operation, there may be times when capacity is limited.
The good side, at least, is that the clients are immediately informed if towing isn’t possible. As we’ve checked, this appears to be a very rare instance.

Living up to its name, Affordable Tow Truck is the go-to choice for customers on a budget. They charge reasonable fees for their services – all without sacrificing the quality of their offerings.
They have 24-hour towing and roadside assistance, making them a strong choice for emergencies at any hour of the night or day. On average, they respond within 30 to 45 minutes, even during peak hours or late-night calls.
Communication during these periods is great, especially with accurate ETAs. They even stay in touch with the client until the job is fully completed.
This level of support translates to various aspects as well. For instance, we heard of a client who was assisted with jumpstarting his car before towing.
Drivers are fully trained and certified, reassuring us of the level of care they can extend to vehicles. As such, vehicles arrive at the destination scratch-free, prompting customers to hire them again and again for similar situations.
While their response leaves little room for complaints, we did notice that they can be hard to reach during late hours.
However, these cases are very few. According to the client, it may be due to connection issues rather than poor management.
