We looked through their portfolio and loved what we saw. A full-color portrait of Link stood out to us. It matched every detail from the game, right down to the shading on his tunic.
Others we spoke to have gotten full sleeves featuring loved ones’ portraits or even album cover art. The colors stay rich, and the lines stay crisp.
Another thing we like about this place is the staff. Almost everyone we talked to praised the tattoo artists for listening to their requests. We like that they take their time to get the ink just right.

Steady Ink has some of the best tattoo artists El Paso has to offer. We think their award-winning work speaks for itself.
Their black-and-grey tattoo portraits look so realistic that people often mistake them for photos. In the sleeves we’ve seen, the details are exquisite, and the shading is neat.
Cover-ups are a specialty too. Several customers told us their old tattoos are completely unrecognizable under their new pieces, with no trace of the original ink showing through.
We also like that their fine line and micro-realism work is delicate yet durable, and traditional styles are bold and clean. People who have gotten small tattoos told us they always get compliments on how eye-catching the artwork is.
The downside? Their top artists book out in advance, and rescheduling is extremely limited. People who ended up having to shift their appointments told us that they ended up having to wait another month or more for the next available slot.
