The 5 Best Pilates Studios in El Paso for That Body You’ve Been Dreaming Of

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Instructors: I wanted teachers who actually pay attention—people who spot when your shoulders are creeping up, or your back is arching, and give you tips that actually help.

Classes: I looked for studios that offer more than just the basics—places with classes for total beginners and for people who already know their way around a reformer.

Environment: I noticed whether the studios felt clean and comfortable, with enough space to actually stretch out without bumping into someone.

Reviews: I chatted with regulars and asked what they love, what they’d like to see improved, and whether they’d recommend it to a friend.

Like many people, I got into at-home Pilates classes during the pandemic. Once things opened up, I signed up for the first in-person class that fit my schedule—a tiny studio I stumbled across on social media.

The instructor barely looked up from her phone, let alone corrected my form. That disappointing class pushed me to start searching for the best Pilates studios in El Paso.

After trying out classes at different studios, here are the Pilates spots I found with great instructors and class vibes!

How much do Pilates classes cost in El Paso?

It costs at least $10 for a trial pilates class in El Paso, but packages start at $30. The final price will depend on how many classes you take and where you go.

1. Studio J Pilates

studio-j-pilates

Address: 4717 Honda Pass Dr #E

Contact Details: +1 915-838-5636

Website

Studio J was often mentioned by my friends who recently started Pilates when I was still gathering recommendations. A common thing I kept hearing was how friendly the instructors were, and I got to see this firsthand during my visit.

The studio is relaxed and genuinely supportive, without any of that pushy gym energy. One regular told me she keeps coming back because the instructors actually cheer her on as she works towards stronger abs.

When I tried their $10 Saturday trial class, the instructor even tweaked the moves to help with my stubbornly tight hamstrings. The friendly and personalised instruction definitely makes Pilates less intimidating.

I also love that they have a Reformer Tower in the studio. One regular I chatted with said she’s noticed her core and balance getting stronger because of the Reformer Tower’s resistance.

I also liked that there are no contracts or sneaky auto-renewals here. People just buy the classes they want, when they want them. Packages start at $189 for eight classes or $258 for 12, with options to mix and match.

The catch? Packages expire in 60 days. So if customers are not regular, it’s easy to lose out on classes—and money—if they forget to go.

Pros

  • Offers $10 trial class
  • Classical and modern Pilates
  • Has a Reformer Tower
  • Relaxed vibes
  • Supportive instructors
  • Class packages available

Cons

  • Class packages expire in 60 days

Amazing Pilates instructor

I’ve been going to this Pilates studio regularly for almost 2 years and I can honestly say that I feel so much better and stronger! Thanks to the small classes and the amazing Pilates instructor, Julie, it’s a lot of fun! Julie even adjusted the exercises for me so that I could continue during my pregnancy. I’m so sad to be moving away but can’t recommend this Pilates studio enough to anyone that wants to feel great after every class!”

LOVE this freaking place

“I was looking for a Pilates studio and wasn’t sure what to expect really but man, I LOVE this freaking place! Almost immediately I saw a change in my core and body strength & how I looked physically!! And it helps that Julie is truly the best! She works with you as an individual and is not only extremely professional but personable as well! I cannot say enough GOOD things about Studio J Pilates”

The Reformer Club is all about structure and discipline. Every class I went to started precisely on time, not a minute late.

People who work out here need to show up on time. There’s a five-minute grace period, but after that, the doors are shut.

The new client deal—two classes for $30—makes it easy to try things out before signing up. The heated mat Pilates and barre classes keep things interesting, so I never felt like I was doing the same routine twice.

The studio itself is spotless and well-lit. I appreciate that the staff wipes down equipment between every class.

The instructors also don’t just stand at the front. They walk around to give encouragement and quick, helpful tips on form. One woman in my group, a first-timer, told me she felt supported but challenged after just one class.

The cancellation policy is also strict. If customers cancel late or miss a class, they get charged the full price.

Pros

  • Classes start on time
  • 2 classes for $30
  • Heated mat Pilates
  • Barre classes
  • Spotless studio
  • Helpful instructors

Cons

  • Grace period for tardiness is only 5 minutes
  • Strict cancellation policy

Love the energy in class

“I love the energy in class! They offer a variety of classes and schedule. Besides they have great promotions and a very nice enviroment. First place on all EL Paso to have Barre & Pilates together! So cool☀️🎀🌸”

Instructors are very kind and helpful as a beginner

“Love this place! I had never tried Pilates but the instructors are very kind and helpful as a beginner. Love that there’s an app to schedule and that it’s easy to get started. You don’t necessarily need a contract which is also a plus. Studio is clean and appealing to work out at.”

I found Aurum Pilates monthly plans to offer excellent value for anyone looking to get into Pilates.

The Novus intro plan is $60 and covers three classes that people can use at any time during the month. For those more committed, the 6-month plan at $290 comes with unlimited classes.

Booking is straightforward through their members’ app. One regular told me she likes how the app keeps her on track with class times so she never misses a session.

What I like about their Pilates classes is the focus on intentional movement and overall well-being. In one class, the instructor had us slow down and really pay attention to how each muscle was working, instead of just rushing through the moves.

The only real hassle I’ve had here is with parking. On busy evenings, I’ve had to circle the block a couple of times before finding a spot, which can be a bit of a headache.

Pros

  • Excellent value for money
  • Offers various packages
  • Easy to book classes
  • Convenient members app
  • Focus on intentional movement

Cons

  • Parking is a hassle

Always get a great workout

“Love this studio! Gabriela is amazing! She is a wonderful instructor and I enjoy her classes. I always get a great workout. She explains the exercises well and ensures that we are safe and have proper form”

Great job in taking her time to show us the proper form

“Gabriela did such a great job in taking her time to show us the proper form and proper method of getting into and out of the equipment. I really enjoyed her class and would take it again!”

Pink Iron Fitness stands out for its women-only vibe, where the focus is on women cheering each other on. A regular told me she never worries about feeling out of place here, and that making friends is almost effortless.

The friendly energy made it easy for me to slip into a Pilates class. Within minutes, the woman next to me offered to help adjust my reformer, and the instructor greeted everyone by name.

They really zero in on precision and alignment. Halfway through, the instructor had us hold a plank just a little longer to make sure our form was on point. My core definitely felt that the next day.

I also appreciated that the instructor went around giving quick tips to those who struggled with their form in different Pilates movements.

Beyond Pilates, Pink Iron also offers cycling classes. They also have a gym with various fitness machines. You can even get personalized coaching if you’re interested.

Now, while the woman-only policy certainly makes the space feel safer for many, those looking to do pilates with male friends might find the place limiting.

Pros

  • Friendly and supportive environment
  • Precise movements
  • Helpful instructors
  • Women-only
  • Offers other types of workouts

Cons

  • Limited clientele

Best environment for women

“Best environment for women who want a professional, supportive and safe space to work out.”

Excellent instructors

“Highly recommended!! Excellent instructors, variety of classes, and a great atmosphere”

HotWorx gives members round-the-clock access to their infrared fitness studio.

They don’t do the traditional Pilates classes. Their Hot Pilates sessions are all about intensity—think sweat-soaked mats and muscles working overtime, all guided by a virtual instructor on screen.

Classes are tiny, just three people at a time. I actually prefer it that way, since people get their own space and don’t have to worry about bumping elbows with anyone.

The infrared heat actually loosened my stiff muscles as I powered through core work and worked to improve my posture. It’s the kind of burn that made me want to come back.

One regular told me she loves how the heat kicks her metabolism into overdrive. And I have to admit, I also felt lighter and more flexible after each class.

My only gripe? There’s no real instructor in the room. The virtual cues are clear, but sometimes regulars wish they had live help.

One woman told me she was struggling with bicycles and plank positioning. She wished there was someone to nudge her hips into the right position.

Pros

  • 24/7 access for members
  • Infrared fitness studio
  • Hot Pilates classes
  • Loosens stiff muscles
  • Jumpstarts metabolism

Cons

  • No in-person instructors

Super fun and very different then any workout

“Super fun and very different then any workout place I’ve ever been too, it was hot and a good burn and I only did the Pilates, looking forward to trying the other classes! And I am looking to join a location near by whenever I move, Rene at the front desk was very kind and helpful!”

Absolutely love this place for working out

“Absolutely love this place for working out! Highly recommend it. Renee was fantastic—she gave me a great tour on my first visit and made me feel right at home. I really appreciate the flexibility of the sessions, and the fact that it’s open 24/7 for members means I never have an excuse to skip a workout. So glad I found this spot!”
