1. Villalobos and Moore

Address: 5959 Gateway Blvd W Suite 270
Contact Details: +19159903090
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 7 AM to 4 PM
- Friday – 7 AM to 12 PM
Villalobos & Moore impressed us with their 40+ years of aggressive representation in immigration law for military personnel and veterans.
The Parole in Place program makes it easy for family members to apply for residence without having to leave the country.
One army spouse shared that she struggled for years with her husband’s status. However, Villabos & Moore’s use of Parole in Place helped keep them together during the adjustment status.
What we really love about them is that their lawyers always take the time to explain complex rules. The step-by-step explanations have helped many avoid confusion when gathering documents and ensured a smoother process for everyone.
In fact, one guy we talked to said he was able to expedite naturalization for his veteran father without all the stress because of the firm’s guidance.
They also have an impressive track record of fighting for their clients throughout frustrating deportation proceedings. Their lawyers take on tough cases that other agencies decline.
That said, because they focus deeply on military family cases, they aren’t always the best fit for employment-based and other immigration needs.
They clearly understood the nuances of NIW applications for legal professionals
“I received exceptional service from Villalobos & Moore. Their team successfully navigated my National Interest Waiver (NIW) application for my EB-2 green card, and I am now a permanent resident of the United States.
From the initial consultation through final approval, this firm demonstrated an outstanding combination of legal expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to my case. They clearly understood the nuances of NIW applications for legal professionals and provided strategic guidance that proved invaluable. Their team thoroughly prepared my petition, ensuring every component met USCIS’s rigorous standards, and their efforts paid off with a successful approval.
In my case, I faced unique challenges as a foreign-trained attorney seeking to establish myself in the United States. They answered all my questions with professionalism and patience.
I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering an NIW or other immigration application in the El Paso area.”

2. Villar & Garcia Immigration Attorneys

Address: 2523 Montana Ave
Contact Details: +19153142363
Operating Hours:
- Monday – 9 AM to 1:30 PM
- Tuesday to Friday – 9 AM to 5 PM
Villar & Garcia Immigration Attorneys, Arturo and Natalia, stood out to us for their commitment to humanitarian cases and their roots in pro bono work.
We met a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient who had nearly given up after two failed renewals at another firm.
She told us that Arturo and Natalia sat down with her and combed through every detail in her file. They didn’t stop until they found the missing certified transcripts.
They even drafted a thorough letter explaining the prior denials. This led to her application being approved.
Their track record with humanitarian visas is equally strong. We heard firsthand from a woman escaping spousal abuse who said Arturo and Natalia handled her VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petition with compassion.
This petition helps women who are victims of abuse gain legal immigrant status independently.
They collected everything from police reports to supportive affidavits. They even went a step further by connecting her to a local shelter for extra safety.
Honestly, the only real con is that their office can get pretty busy. One guy told us he sometimes had to wait longer than he’d hoped for his appointment to start, up to 30 minutes.
Natalia’s expertise and thorough understanding of immigration law
“I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional service provided by Natalia Villar and her team. From the moment I reached out for assistance with my immigration case, I felt welcomed and supported. Natalia’s expertise and thorough understanding of immigration law were evident throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and explain every step in detail, which made what could have been a stressful experience much more manageable.
Her team was equally impressive—always prompt in their responses, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They worked diligently to ensure that my application was flawless and submitted on time, keeping me informed every step of the way.
I highly recommend them to anyone seeking immigration assistance. Their dedication, professionalism, and compassion set them apart in the field.
Thank you, Natalia Villar and team, for your amazing work! 🙌”

From the very first meeting, she was polite, kind, and honest about every step
“I had such an amazing experience with attorney Natalia Villar and her team during my immigration process. From the very first meeting, she was polite, kind, and honest about every step, which really helped my husband and me feel comfortable and confident. Natalia and our paralegal, Alejandra Ramirez, guided us clearly through every stage, answered all of our questions with patience, and made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. Everyone at Villar & Garcia was attentive and caring, and we’re truly grateful for their help. I highly recommend them to anyone going through the same process!”

Contact Details: +19157783992
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8:30 AM to 5 PM\
- Friday – 8:30 AM to 4 PM
Global Immigration Law makes the immigration process less overwhelming with its online platform. It’s very convenient since it allows people to manage their entire visa renewal from their apartment.
What’s even better is that the platform allows users to track every document upload and see real-time status updates.
We also found Global Immigration Law’s attorneys really good at explaining different forms and insurance proofs. They even send examples to their clients and confirm everything is compliant before the online submission.
Many clients we talked to also appreciated that the lawyers review all employment contracts to make sure they meet all Department of Labor requirements.
One guy told us that when his company was slow to provide a required letter, Global Immigration Law’s staff stepped in and called the HR department directly. They clarify what is needed, avoiding delays.
And for those who speak limited English, the team can jump on a call in Spanish to patiently explain government fee payments and what to expect at each stage.
The only con we found is that the digital-first approach isn’t for everyone. One older woman mentioned she would have preferred more in-person conversations.
Edward was straightforward, attentive, and highly knowledgeable
“I worked with Edward Rodriguez and his team on my E2 visa application, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. From day one, Edward was straightforward, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about every step of the E2 process. He took the time to understand my business model, provided strategic advice tailored to my goals, and made the entire immigration journey feel manageable—even during moments of uncertainty.
What stood out most was his commitment and responsiveness. Every question I had was answered thoroughly and promptly. His team handled everything with precision and professionalism, and thanks to their work, my visa was approved without issues.
If you’re an entrepreneur or investor looking for an immigration attorney who genuinely knows what he’s doing and treats your case with the attention it deserves, I highly recommend The Law Firm of Edward Rodriguez, P.C.”

4. Frontera Immigration Law

Address: 521 Texas Ave
Contact Details: +19155020502
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday – 9 AM to 4 PM
Frontera Immigration Law made our list because of its bilingual, client-centered approach and depth of expertise in humanitarian and family immigration.
Melissa Untereker, the main immigration attorney, is bilingual. She breaks down complicated waivers or crime victim benefits in both English and Spanish.
From what we heard, Melissa and her team never give up, no matter how many setbacks they face with immigration issues.
One of her clients, whose VAWA case had stalled elsewhere, told us that she finally received her work permit after working with Frontera.
Their dedication applies to even securing complex T and U visas for human trafficking and other serious crimes.
One trafficking survivor said Melissa made sure every detail was documented for her T visa application.
We also like how she guides families step by step through filing family petitions and spousal visas. She always stays up to date with the latest requirements, double-checks documentation, and helps with interview prep to help avoid rejections.
The only hiccup about working with her is that she mainly works with family immigration. So those who need employment or student immigration help will have to look elsewhere.
Everything was always very easy, smooth, and fast
“I contacted Melissa a few years ago for help on a change of status/Residency application for my Son. A few months later we received his Green Card and after a year more or less Melissa helped us again with his US citizenship certificate. Everything was always very easy, smooth and fast considering everything that has changed with immigration laws recently. She is a very nice person that makes you feel welcomed. I recommend her 100% and will continue to do so with family and friends. Thank you Melissa for helping me with my Son Matias, he says thank you as well.”

Very quickly done, and it was because of her knowledge and professionalism
“I contacted Melissa in April 2025 to assist with my Naturalization case and she submitted my document on the 29th April and on the 24th July I took the Oath very quickly done and it was because of her knowledge and professionalism, always answer when I have a question I could not have chosen a better lawyer on my case.
Thank You Melissa.”

5. Cynthia R. Lopez, P.C.

Address: 2829 Montana Ave Suite 215
Contact Details: +19159969070
Operating Hours: Thursday 10 AM to 4 PM
It’s really impressive that Cynthia R. Lopez speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. What’s even more impressive is she’s able to provide reliable legal defense and representation for immigration cases dealing with citizenship, green cards, DACA, and more.
One woman valued that Cynthia listened to her fears about deportation and acted fast. She helped her file the right paperwork even when others told her it was too late.
We also really like that Cynthia breaks down each step. She explains the forms and even calls her clients to check in before their interview.
Her attention to detail is worth noting too. One DACA recipient said Cynthia caught a minor mistake in her previous application, fixed it, and ensured her renewal went through before her status expired.
She’s also careful with work permit renewals, double-checking every document so clients don’t lose their right to work.
That said, Cynthia’s office can get very busy, especially after court dates or immigration deadlines. One guy told us that sometimes emails about non-urgent questions took a few days to get a reply.
Cynthia is a very good lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone
“Cynthia is a very good lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for an honest immigration attorney. She handled my father’s case which was extremely difficult with professionalism and care. Her team always got back to me in a timely manner and were also very well trained. Cynthia is upfront and will tell you what she can and cannot do in our difficult immigration system. I think a lot of people do not understand that all this takes time and tremendous effort. It took 6 long months to take my father out of detention. You have to be patient and understand that this is a process, a long one. She always gave me great advice and helped me every step of the way through a truly difficult time. My dad would not be here if it wasn’t for Cynthia, that I can say with the utmost certainty. All I can say is trust the process and trust the professional you hire to handle your case.”

Cynthia and Kimberly were incredibly helpful with my mother’s adjustment of status
‘Cynthia and Kimberly were incredibly helpful with my mother’s adjustment of status process. They guided us every step of the way and offered reassurance whenever we needed it, which gave us a great deal of confidence during a stressful time. Cynthia did a wonderful job preparing my mother for her interview and helped ease much of her anxiety. And Kimberly was so patient, always taking the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We’re so grateful—thank you both so much!”
