Quick, imagine you’re ordering snacks for your group for a watch party! If you’re me, you’ve probably imagined the usual suspects: pizza, soda, nachos and finally, chicken wings. And let me tell you exactly why you shouldn’t skimp out on the wings.

Chicken wings are such a versatile snack. You can have them bone-in or boneless, fried or baked, and with various sauces and dips. At any restaurant I go to, I always try and see if they’ve got wings, but I usually don’t get as much variety as I’d like at those.

So recently I’ve started looking more into chicken wing restaurants here in El Paso to get my kick! We’ve got a watch party planned, so some friends and I made a challenge to hit up as many as we could without losing our tongues, and here’s our favorites.

How much does it cost to get chicken wings in El Paso?

Buying chicken wings in El Paso can cost anywhere from $11 to $25 per order, depending on how many are included, what type of wing you ordered, and any additional fees for sauces and dips.

If you’ve ever gone on a restaurant crawl around El Paso, you might have spotted Track One already. This unique spot’s practically impossible to miss if you’re looking for chicken wings, so we finally took the chance to drop by.

Just off the bat, we found the dining space wide and engaging. Track One is set up as a restaurant within a train cart, so we worried about space initially. That said, we found ample seating by the windows and the bar, even with a big group.

A quick browse through their menu yielded some good news. We found their chicken wings very reasonably priced, especially since they came in orders of ten and double-dipped! We managed to get an order of the lemon pepper with double dip.

On that note, we did face a bit of a wait for our food to get out to us. We weren’t a particularly large group with a big order, so we’d definitely keep this wait in mind if you’re planning your own visit.

That being said, our smaller order was a bit of a silver lining! With the portion sizes being on the generous side, we got full from the wings alone.

Pros

  • Unique dining space and environment
  • Reasonable costs for food
  • Generous portion sizes

Cons

  • Long wait for food

Some of the best wings I’ve ever had

“This small little restaurant in a train cart is quite amazing. It is popular so expect to wait to get a table, it is worth it. We sat at the bar as we prefer that sometimes and we had amazing service by Celeste, she was very attentive and kind. We had the double dipped wings as an appetizer and oh my, those are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was mouth watering, soo good and we also had the ranchero burger which was also good. Fries are amazing and so were the onion rings. We had the churro cake with ice cream for dessert and it was gone in a few bites, delicious!! Highly recommend this place if you are in El Paso.”

It’s a cool spot

“My family invited me out to dinner at this place. I’ve passed by many times but never stopped in. It’s a cool spot that is two or three conjoined train cars transformed into a restaurant. They mainly serve wings, burgers, and other bar foods. I liked the food and will make another visit the next time I’m in town.”

Nothing beats the wind in your hair when you’re trying to cool off from an order of extra spicy wings, so we kept a look out for an al fresco wing experience. We didn’t have to look far until we stumbled on The Shack Wings & Brews!

We were lucky to arrive early, even on a busy night. The restaurant itself was spacious, and we managed to snag seats on their outdoor terrace. Even outside, we were able to get comfortable and talk without much noise interference.

Another plus in our book was the staff. Our server was able to guide us through their menu and give us recommendations based on our spice tolerance and flavor preferences, which yielded us a mix of garlic Parmesan and tangy chipotle wings.

We were also pleased that the service remained this attentive and accommodating all throughout. We didn’t have trouble ordering refills or extra portions, and our server was able to get our food out to us in time.

That being said, we would absolutely check in with the server on the availability of items. We wanted to try some of their craft burgers and buffalo cauliflower but found them unavailable on our visit.

Pros

  • Attentive and accommodating service
  • Reliable staff recommendations
  • Good options for outdoor seating

Cons

  • Availability of food items tends to fluctuate

Good food, great atmosphere

“Good food, great atmosphere! Our server Emily was attentive and constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed even while they were busy. I 100% recommend coming here for good wings and great service.”

– Mr. Isaac Ianni, Google Review

Waitress was very attentive

“I liked the ambience and the friendly staff. They acknowledged us immediately we arrived. We waited for about 10 minutes. We were seated at the outdoor sitting area. Waitress was very attentive and checked on our table several times. The DJ was playing 90s music right next to us. Really enjoyed myself and will most definitely return.”

Chicken wings are a reliable meal even when you’re not out to order bucketfuls for a party, so finding something quick and tasty was on our agenda. And with that in mind, we couldn’t resist popping over to Wingstop.

A big plus in Wingstop’s favor was the location, which we found easy to get to with minimal directions. There was ample parking space available at the shop, which should come in handy for larger groups.

The restaurant was also surprisingly quiet when we came in. It wasn’t a particularly slow day either, but we were able to get settled and chat among ourselves while waiting for our orders.

Speaking of the wait, we found it almost nonexistent. Our boneless Louisiana rub wings got out to us quickly after we ordered. To our pleasant surprise, they were cooked well and crispy, with just the right amount of sauce.

On that note, we did call the shop to order some wings to be delivered to us but found their response times a little long. We’d definitely recommend ordering online if you’re planning on calling ahead.

Pros

  • Easy location with ample parking space
  • Quick service times for pick up and delivery
  • Comfortable and quiet restaurant

Cons

  • Long response times over phone

Moist and very flavor enriched tenders

“Delicious, moist and very flavor enriched tenders. Delicious, hot and perfectly seasoned fries. And a delicious Coke to wash it down with made this lunch with drooling over! Placed my order online and it was right on time for pick up and good to the very last bite and drink.”

– Mr. Emmanuel Hernandez, Google Review

Everything came out perfect and crisp

“Wow!! Really nothing else to say rather than this was a 10/10 experience. The food was cooked to perfection. Everything came out perfect and crisp. Friendly staff overall, the manager Ricardo was really helpfull and Elias was also really helpfull and nice! This is now my favorite wingstop location overall!”

Name a better way of celebrating after a long work week than to sit down with a massive plate of wings and a tall drink. If you can’t, then put it on your agenda to try Wing Kings on your next payday!

Wing Kings is a particular favorite among those with exacting tastes to their sauces, which happens to include a few of us. The team was very attentive to our requests when we dropped by, noting down any allergies and sensitivities in our group.

This helped the team make some recommendations for which dishes and sauces to try. For us, this ended up being their twenty boneless wings with our pick for any of their signature sauces. It worked out perfect for our group’s varied tastes!

We also appreciated just how large and spacious the restaurant was. We came in as a larger group and didn’t face much of a wait to get a table, and we were seated all together comfortably.

That being said, we did experience a bit of a wait to get our full order. We’d definitely recommend coming in early to help mitigate this wait, or trying not to come too hungry.

Pros

  • Reliable staff recommendations
  • Large and spacious seating at restaurant
  • Attentive to customer requests

Cons

  • Long waiting time to receive food

I had no idea chicken could be this juicy

“As an avid fan of chicken, I had no idea chicken could be this juicy??? Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had, spicy lemon pepper was a fantastic flavor! Very large, as well! Great deal. Big recommend.”

– Mr. Jeffery Barros, Google Review

Wings are large and in charge

“This place is SUPER underrated! You got to swing by here and try out the food! Wings are large and in charge, the onion rings are so flavorful and honestly top tier with the jalapeño ranch sauce. Was completely blown away by the experience we had! I can see why they are the “WING KINGS””

What gives chicken wings its trademark versatility is the sauces, and that’s exactly what we wanted to dive into next! Sure, classics like BBQ and honey are nice, but our search for more took us right to the local Wing Daddy’s Sauce House.

Right off the bat, the menu blew us away. The restaurant was home to a wide variety of chicken dishes, especially wings! Just from a quick skim, we found boneless bites, strips and bone-in wings, cooked either fried or smoked.

The same went for their sauces, which was another factor that caught our eye. We were able to request to taste their sauces beforehand, helping us decide which ones to go for! This also comes in handy for those wanting to book them as a caterer

When we finally got seated with our order of Cajun and bacon wings, we also got to chat with our server. They were reliably attentive throughout our meal, keeping our drinks topped up and getting extra portions out in a timely manner.

Speaking of timeliness, we did encounter a bit of a wait to get seated. We’d definitely recommend coming in on a slower day or arriving early just in case.

Pros

  • Can easily request to sample sauces
  • Wide variety of food and wings
  • Attentive service from staff

Cons

  • Long waiting times to get seated

The wings are excellent

“We recently moved from Newport Beach, CA to the SunCity and haven’t had WingDaddy’s in 4 years. Tonight was the time to try a sampling of their menu options. The wings are excellent! The drinks were great and our starters …fried pickles and the Texas toothpicks were tasty! We had EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE from a sweet, young lady named Lauren. We highly recommend the Airway location! Plus, we had the fried cheesecake….crazy good!!!”

– Ms. Karen Poblano, Google Review

Food is always tasty and warm

“Went to this location recently and it was very good. The food is always tasty and warm and the service is always hospitable. Our server Elizabeth was extremely kind and always attentive. She always checked up on us and made sure that we were satisfied with our food and experience. Would definitely come again if I’m in the area.”
