We were never really big fans of bowling, as the ball would just end up rolling on the gutter. Not to mention going home with sore fingers caused by those heavy, shiny balls!
Recently, our friend celebrated his birthday in one of the best bowling spots here in El Paso, and well, everything has changed! We were welcomed with glowing neon lights, bar snacks, and even comfortable seats that encouraged us to play one more game!
So if you want to give that bowling alley another shot, make sure to check out this list and find the best one for you.

You can find a bowling alley inside the game room at Oasis Lanes in El Paso.
This place also serves food so you can refuel your energy tank while playing golf. Don’t forget to try their pepperoni and pizza and boneless wings while you’re here!
It’s also great that there’s also a full bar inside the game room. And for beer lovers out there, we’re quite sure that you’ll love their beer on tap, which we find extra cold!
Aside from bowling, you and your friends can also enjoy other arcade games and other virtual reality activities. For a more classic vibe, pool tables can be located near the bowling alley.
We were also lucky enough to witness the glow bowling event during our stay. So if playing with neon bowling bowls under the black light interests you, then make sure to call them to check their schedule.
There are also TV screens all over the place, perfect if you want to catch the latest sporting events while bowling. This place even hosts Pay-Per-View events, so make sure to check their full activities on their site too!
Meanwhile, you can also check several arcade games placed outside the bowling alley.
Pro tip:
Oasis Lanes accepts reservations for exclusive parties or corporate events. You may even consider reserving the entire place if you’re expecting a very large crowd.
2. Bowl El Paso

Website: http://bowl-elpaso.com/
Address: 11144 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935
Contact Details: +1 915-593-7777
Operating Hours: Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Friday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 AM; Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
If you love to play bowling under dim lights, then Bowl El Paso is the one for you. Here, you’ll be surrounded by neon lights, so expect your photos to have a high contrast and saturation.
This bowling spot plays great music that sets a lively ambiance. We feel like they show the best ones on Sundays, from five in the afternoon until nine in the evening.
And if you need to hear more, you’ll love that this bowling place has a lounge room where local artists are invited to play live music.
There’s even a dance floor, which is always ready for you if you need to dance the night away! This is one of the top reasons why they’ve been known as one favorites among the older crowd.
But don’t worry; if you wish to bring your kids, the whole vibe is still family-friendly. Moreover, if you ever get hungry while playing (or maybe after dancing), don’t miss out on their pizza, nachos, and brisket fries.
They serve quickly, too, even on their busiest nights.
To bring a little nostalgia to the scene, they never removed the pool tables which they had since they opened years ago. Expect them to be a little worn down, though!
Pro tip:
For groups of more than six, it would be best to call ahead and schedule to avoid an hour-long wait.
3. Monkey Rock

Address: 750 Sunland Park Dr Unit 100C, El Paso, TX 79912
Contact Details: +1 915-626-5220
Operating Hours: Monday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Friday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Sunday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Another family-friendly amusement center where you can try striking out bowling pins is at Monkey Rock.
Aside from the bowling alley, there’s also VR soccer, arcade mini golf, and football, which the kids enjoyed. Just remember to save the game card for your next visit!
Here, the bowling lanes can be rented on an hourly basis. Because of this, we don’t recommend taking a long pause in between strikes, as you would probably end up not finishing the entire game.
On the other hand, we were glad that they assigned a server to get our orders–we felt like VIPs during our stay. He was also friendly enough to share some bowling tips, especially to the losing team.
Make sure to double-check if they got you the correct bill, though! Good thing we did, as they gave us the bill from the next table.
Pro tip:
If you wish to extend your stay in your bowling lane, make sure to connect with their staff at least an hour before the end of your period. You may also consider giving them a heads up even before you begin your game.
4. Jumping World

Address: 5850 Onix Dr, El Paso, TX 79912
Contact Details: +1 915-910-6378
Operating Hours: Monday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Friday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Sunday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
We got to know Jumping World when our son went there for their field trip during his fifth grade in school. Since then, he would always insist on coming back, and we’re glad we did!
Even during weekends, we didn’t have to wait to get our slots. We were immediately admitted inside, so if you’re a little impatient, then this place would be an ideal one for you.
This place has everything beyond bowling. Here, you can spot both old-school arcades and virtual reality ones, which makes it a perfect place for families to unwind and bond.
There’s also a trampoline where the young kids usually head first, as we observed. Just make sure your kids don’t have a full stomach when entering this arena if you don’t want unfortunate things from happening (I’m sure you get the idea!).
Bowling lines were also working correctly. And if your kid won’t leave your side, you’ll love that there are automatic bumper lanes for the young ones, so they can enjoy bowling with you, too!
Everything is also indoors, so you won’t have to worry about going there even on a rainy day. You will surely maximize each corner, fully air conditioned too!
After bowling, or maybe while waiting for your kids to finish their own activities, you can pick up a drink from the bar. Don’t forget to try the piña coladas with fried pickles and onion rings on the side!
You can also book the entire place or certain sections for an exclusive party. They also assign a very attentive hostess in the party room so you can focus more on entertaining your guests.
Pro tip:
Consider bringing your own bowling shoes as Jumping World has limited sizes available.

Operating Hours: Tuesday – Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Thursday: 11:00 AM – 10:30 PM; Friday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM
If you’re looking for a bowling place that isn’t too crowded, then Ft. Bliss Bowling Center is the one for you. You won’t get to see lots of kids running around or even teenagers hanging out here, so it’s a perfect place to take the whole family for some weekend fun.
Unlike some bowling places, you get to pay by the game. We didn’t feel like we were in a rush, allowing us to enjoy our time with our friends even more.
Even better, it’s only $4 per person—shoes included!
Upon entering, you’ll notice that they keep the disco lights on the entire day. Our kids thought it was entertaining; even the younger ones were dancing during our game.
We’ve noticed how they kept the entire place clean and tidy. They even disinfect bowling balls, tables, and chairs after every use.
It’s also great that the staff follows a strict policy when it comes to wearing masks. We felt extra safe, especially that we had our senior parents with us during our visit.
Meanwhile, this bowling place serves lots of snacks and beverages. So if a game or two won’t be enough, you can always refuel with burgers and fries here at Ft Bliss Bowling Center.
For those of you who need to relax after a tiring game, you can take advantage of their nice lounge area. And while you chill for a bit, you can let your kids enjoy their own time playing arcade.
Well, for us, we were quite energized from the bar snacks, that we ended up playing various arcade games too!
Pro tip:
Consider visiting at 8 in the evening so you can maximize Ft Bliss Bowling Center’s unlimited play for just $15.
6. Gamescape by Cinemark

Address: 13361 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso, TX 79928
Contact Details: +1 915-603-5223
After watching a movie at Cinemark, invite your friends to play bowling here at Gamescape. It’s fun to explore this new place in town, giving us a fresh (and spacious) modern atmosphere.
Bowling-shoe rentals aren’t part of the overall fee, so if you’re a frequent bowling player, you may consider bringing your own pair to save a few bucks.
We loved that the designated booth per bowling lane is large enough to accommodate even larger groups. We also kept our bags and other personal stuff inside a built-in locker found under the booth.
You can also order food and drinks while bowling, but take note that their bowling lane rentals are on a per hour basis so make sure eating won’t take much of your time. Nonetheless, you can still go to the bar after your game to chow and get a few drinks.
Aside from the movies and bowling, this place also offers other fun indoor activities such as laser tag, wall climbing, and rope courses. They also have an arcade, but it’s worth noting that most of the games are still down since the place is relatively new.
Well, if you were really to ask us, we recommend that you allot five to six hours in this place as there’s really so much to do!
Be a little patient though as traffic in and out of this building is quite busy any time of the day.
Pro tip:
To avoid longer queues, consider visiting Gamescape by Cinemark before 3 in the afternoon, most especially on weekends.
