Needless to say, it sucks when your appliances die on you. Since I know what it’s like to feel stuck in the mud with repairs, I took the initiative to look into the best application repairs right here in El Paso.

Modern Appliance Repair has the ability to fix pretty much all brands and models, thanks to their over 10 years of experience. They repair everything from microwaves and refrigerators to garbage disposals and ice makers.
One person shared with me that when their garbage disposal was acting up, the repair tech cleared out all the nasty gunk clogging it up and gave them maintenance tips.
It’s also reassuring that they offer a one-year manufacturer’s warranty on parts and a 90-day warranty on labor.
Customers I talked to also really loved how detailed the consultations were. The repair tech explained exactly what was wrong and how they could fix it, keeping them in the loop throughout the process.
I also appreciate that they waive the consultation fee once you hire them because it helps a lot in minimizing the bill.
We just wish they’d be more strict in following safety practices. Some customers told us that their repair techs left their tools everywhere on the floor, which could cause some injury.

I particularly love their same-day and next-day dryer and washing machine repair services. I like how they address the issue you’re having quickly and don’t leave you dealing with going to the laundromat for long.

I’m just disappointed to hear that the techs aren’t the best at cleaning up. A few people complained that they were left picking up the technicians’ mess because they failed to clean up after they were done.

Their service is prompt too. Customers reported that their repair techs came out the next day and did their best to fix it right then and there.
The service is top-notch too. One family shared that these guys repaired their washer, dishwasher, and dryer without any extra issues.
Personally, I like that they don’t just push you into getting a new appliance. They honestly assess the situation and only advise if a new appliance would be a better solution.
However, it’s a little annoying that you have to call them for an appointment. You can’t conveniently book one online as they have no formal site.

“I can’t recommend Tom enough. I was staying at a friend’s house while they were out of town and accidentally left their built-in freezer slightly open. It was a high-end unit, and by the time I realized, all the food had spoiled and the freezer had stopped working. These are very expensive to fix, especially since it was built in. Of course I felt terrible, especially since it wasn’t even mine. I was just days away from moving out of state and started reaching out to appliance repair people. Some were rude, others didn’t show up, and a few clearly just wanted to overcharge. Some were booked out until the following week, but I didn’t have that kind of time. I was leaving town. I started to panic. Then I found Tom. From the very beginning, he stood out. He gave me honest advice over the phone, no charge, just trying to help. He told me exactly what to try before even stepping foot in the house, which most people would have charged for. When that didn’t work and I called him again, he wasn’t even in the area but still found a way to come help, knowing I had only a day left before I needed to leave town. He showed up with his wife, and both were incredibly kind and professional. She was also very helpful and just had a calming, supportive presence that made the whole experience feel a little easier. Tom spent three hours working on the freezer and I could see the effort it took. I was blown away by his work ethic. But what truly blew me away was his integrity. You just don’t find people like him anymore. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and takes pride in doing things right. It’s not about the money for him. It’s about helping people and doing the job with honesty and heart. That kind of character and work ethic is rare these days. And the price he charged for the time, effort, and care he gave? It felt symbolic. Considering everything he did, it honestly felt like a gift.People like Tom are rare. I’m so grateful I found him.

“We called Mr. Stady late evening to schedule an appointment to fix our washer. He stated he was already on the westside and would be willing to come later, if we would like for him to come. He called us after his last appointment and showed up within 15 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem & offered solutions. He was very honest with my husband, and stated he could drill & dismantle the washer for a more costly repair, but he did not want to do that.
